Customers helping other customers online

To enhance the free digital offer ComMutual provides to LMH customers, the team recently developed the Digital Champions Project empowering a number of LMH customers to assist other LMH customers with online learning.

Following accredited training, volunteers have begun supporting others with their online journey in the free digital hubs across the city

"After attending the I.T. classes myself for three years, I'm proud of what I've achieved. The project has given me the opportunity to now help support other LMH customers online to perhaps look for work, set up an email address for their Universal Credit claims and help build their confidence using the computer."

Each class is tailored to the needs of the individual and LMH customers are welcome to drop in even if they just need help setting up an email address for an online Universal Credit claim.

Attending weekly classes to gain a computer related qualification has helped people gain confidence as well as digital skills. With staff on hand to provide employment support, many people have updated their C.V.'s and made successful job searches to succeed in heading back into work.

With even more opportunities available, why not come along or get in touch, whether it's for you or someone you know who is an LMH customer. Speak to a member of the team today.
